After traveling for about an hour, you don't find a village, but a lonely cabin in a quiet clearing. Thriving gardens are laid about the yard and animals can be seen in the back so somebody must live here.

What do you do?

I help the fawn out of the trap see if it is hurt.

The fawn's leg has a gash and seems to be very tender; when you try to touch it, it pulls away. The fawn is still trying to determine who you are and if it can trust you.

What do you do?

I try to calm it down so I can see what I can do for its leg.

It calms a bit but still won't trust you to touch its leg. Your male companion is looking for its mother or perhaps someone who can help.

I choose my weapon to be a longsword and his name is Barrett.
I pick up the little fawn and carry it over to some shelter.

The fawn doesn't resist much as long as you don't touch its leg but it seems to be trusting you more! Barrett returns saying he could not find anything other than forest and it could be a long walk to find help. When you lay the fawn down it rests quietly.

What so you do?

I decide to rest for a little while beside the fawn and see if I can show to it that I mean no harm.

After half an hour or so, Barrett has come across another snare for a different animal to possibly get trapped in. He disables it but is then confronted by a large man who looks to be quite displeased. "What do you think you're doing with my trap!?" he bellows.

What do you do?

I carefully hide the fawn in a nearby bush and go to Barrett to see who the man thinks he is setting up snares that are catching and hurting innocent animals.
