This has sorta been on my mind for a while and I'm not 100% sure how difficult it would be to implement if possible. I was thinking about possible alternative options for custom 3-Visible and higher end prizes during festivals. I think it would be really interesting to be able to give more love to pets that we already really enjoy (pamper them even further, *looks at Krin's Vylexul*)
Then the idea of "Blessing's" came up~
This would pretty much be a very rare type of prize, maybe no more then a handful per festival.
Essentially, the player would be offered a "Blessing" to give to a single pet they own.
Blessing options could be named after deity type figures on Sylestia when the lore is more in order.
Possible blessings could be things like:
1.) Blessing of "-----" : Add an additional carried trait to this pet or make a carried trait visible.
2.) Blessing of "-----" : Add a visible trait of the player's choice to an empty slot.
3.) Blessing of "-----" : Base Mana on this pet is increased by 10.
4.) Blessing of "-----" : Base Strength on this pet is increased by 10.
5.) Blessing of "-----" : Base Intelligence on this pet is increased by 10.
6.) Blessing of "-----" : Base Agility on this pet is increased by 10.
7.) Blessing of "-----" : Base Dexterity on this pet is increased by 10.
8.) Blessing of "-----" : Base Health on this pet is increased by 100.
Hopefully, nothing considered game breaking.
There would be a limit to one "Blessing" pet per. Maybe there could be some sort of icon to indicate that a pet has already been blessed.

I think this sounds like a pretty cool idea !
I do think #2 on your ideas list sounds an awful lot like the GGMs, though. Unless you meant it for use on exclusives/offspring/etc. as well?
I particularly like the one with making a carried trait visible~.
If it were possible to implement this into the game without being game-breaking, I'd definitely support it.

Yup~ #2 would be an option available on any pet (or possibly within whatever limits that the admins might believe necessary). It could possibly be used on top of a pet that has already been mutated.
Like, honestly, there are so many pets that would look so much more gorgeous with just one more visible trait that would make me love them even more. Just to list some examples for myself:

Zebra
I'm certain other players could also find plenty of pets in their stables they'd want to spoil more too. xD So I feel like it would be a prize worth chasing after.

I like the idea, and have had a similar one myself, but mine pertained solely to Starters. Since they're a type all unto themselves (like Offspring, or Exclusive), it would probably be similar to implementing genetic mutators on only Tamed. I have an absurd loyalty to my starter, but there's no way to get her to have stats exceeding those of a generated pet. I want to take her to the endgame, but if the difficulty keeps ramping up, it might not be entirely possible unless we bring in some enhancements. I dunno about adding traits, but adding stats is totally doable, and, to keep it balanced, they could even not be passed on through breeding.

I would like to implement something kind of like this for relaunch where you can continue advancing pets (after they are created) beyond just levels and equipment.
I don't know if it'd extend to additional traits though.
