Asa [ah-sah] - The king of the gods; usually depicted as a large black snake with the front leks and head of a mountain lion. Asa is said to dwell in the sun. He is ruler of the day, light, the sun, and the stars. He created the universe. He represents power, pride, confidence, courage, and honor.


Sura [SOOR-uh] - The queen of the gods; usually depicted as a white peacock. Sura is said to live in the moon. She is ruler of the night, the moon, the dark, and the shadows. She created life. She represents peace, purity, beauty, grace, life, love, and majesty.


Kaysj [kah-YEE-sheh] - The daughter of Asa and Sura; goddess of intelligence, usually depicted as a cat with antlers that holds a golden wand in its mouth. The cat sometimes has wings. Kaysj lives in the deep-cave echoes. She is ruler of all who wander. She represents learning, study, imagination, and cleverness or wit.


Zjmly [SHIM-lee; JIM-lee] - The son of Asa and Sura, and sister to Kaysj; god of good fortune, usually depicted as a fat, gray, smiling cat. Zjmly is ruler of all things entertaining. He represents joy, happiness, excitement, luck, and fun.


Makky [mah-kee] - god of war; usually depicted as a bear or beaver. Makky is ruler of all arguments and battles. He is the leader of soldiers. He represents strength, leadership, and physical power.



Shapha, Sapha, Shafa, Safa [SAH-fah] - The goddess of rest; usually depicted as a Glindomi camel (Glindomi camels have no hump, just a solid slope from their neck to their tail.) She watches over the work/rest relation. The physically strongest god, she cares for the farming and working class. She represents sleep, rest, labor, and farming.
