fara walked around she saw a gazelle [is that how to spell it] she tried to run after it but her pride wasn't very fast so she was a bit slow she managed to catch it "yeah" she said

Talon paced around the clearing anxiously. The Southern Pride hadn't eaten in many days, and the mothers were getting restless.
Spira, the Lead Huntress, took a patrol to search for food... But what if they didn't have the strength to chase and subdue any prey? He continued to pace.

Katana watched the cubs play as she lay silently on the hard ground, She would like to go hunting with the other huntresses, but now was no time to leave the cubs unattended with news of the two new males in the area. obviously this and the lack of recent food was toying with Talon. she watched him pace for a while before standing and shaking out her fur. " When the others return I could go scout.... If that would ease your nerves.." She said pinning her ears back out of respect.

~Kivuli & Jua~

The brothers walked along side by side in the sweltering midday heat, Kivuli was panting slightly though Jua didn't seem to mind the heat.
Another day another casual dance with death, this was the life these two brothers shared with each other. They hadn't eaten in days, and even then the meal hadn't been much to speak of. They had managed to snatch a rotted haunch of some unidentifiable hooved animal from a flock of vultures but that was all. Hunger drove the brothers forward into yet another unknown land.

Suddenly the two brothers stopped, they both seemed to have noticed somthing. Jua raised his muzzle to the wind and tested the scent in the air. "Blood... do you think?" Kivuli asked, the panic and excitement were visible in his amber coloured eyes. "Perhaps, if the hunter is a lion then we'll have to hope its a female." Jua responded.

The brothers would have better luck persuading a lioness to share her kill than if it were a male. And if she refused... well they could always try to overpower her. The brothers were juveniles, their manes were only just beginning to gain the fullness of an adult so it would be quite obvious where the two stood in terms of power.

Crouching low to the ground, Jua nodded to his brother as the two moved in closer to get a better view of the kill.

Dawn swatted a fly, "don't worry going too save the pride, I'll find anough prey for all of winter and summer!" She squeaked.
