(Yeah, didn't know whether to place this here or FAQ, but I suppose it's here now)

These two of my project pets are super cute, and have slightly different traits for a bit of variation in the offspring... seems like Sylestia has other ideas.

All the offspring have exactly the same traits, throughout all 9 of them.
(One of the offspring's lineage, the siblings have all the same traits)

Is this impossible luck or do some traits have a higher chance of being bred because they're common/have been bred for generations? Or maybe something else?
(Only reason I ask is because I used to play a pet site which has long since shut down, but the more you breed a specific trait, the more likely it pops up on the offspring)

But really, they're regens, they have no hiddens and their parents would most likely would not affect their current trait carrying abilities... right?

Thoughts?

(Or maybe I'm just being really silly and missed something obvious O_o)

EDIT: I just thought of something, maybe the offspring has a kind of 'set' set of genes and mutations it has, and it changes depending on carries/hiddens, so otherwise, the same pet will be bred?

Traits in every slot have more dominate ones (those closer to the front of the alphabet) that will be the visible traits. Since the parents are regents and have no carried traits, every offspring will have exactly the same traits and visibles (each parent donates one of their two letters from each trait). In this case:
Gene 1: CE (C is dominate over E, so it will be the visible trait)
Gene 2: DH (D is visible)
Gene 3: BG (B is visible)
Mut 1: AG (A is visible)
Mut 2: AF (A is visible)
Mut 3: BB

Now if you breed the offspring to another puff that has EE in gene 1, you'll have a chance of getting an offspring from them that is EE and will show that trait.
