I think it is cute - but it is up to you - I am a newbie so all I can use is what I have for free so far.

It's 100% up to you. I don't worry too much about my avi and what it wears so I don't change it's outfit much.

You should change it when you don't want to wear it anymore. Some people never get bored of their outfits and wear the same thing all the time, other people change their outfits daily. ~
