Crys hadn't made it as far as she hoped. All of the noise and the crumbling shale from the roof falling down onto the street was attracting attention, especially from the master's goons. She backtracked to the side of the bar and was about to pick open one of the windows to let the crew out, but then she heard the pad of familiar paws making it's way out the door, so she waited to see Byrd and a following of the others. Ho, ho, ho, ain't ye the lucky shrimp!" She called up to Byrd to get his attention. "Izzat all o'em lad?"

She noticed Kana coming out from behind Byrd. So she scurried over to find out from her. "Where's the cap'n?"

"Look boys I'm telling you I don't have anything you could want please!" Another swift kick sent him flying out of the alleyway into the street. The puff landed hard on his side winded from the blow.
"Get 'im and beat 'in till he talks." A large Aurleon grumbled past the cigar in his mouth. His two minions, a nixi that was missing his right eye and a vulnyx with a bobbed tail both nodded and approached the puff. Tulio slowly drug himself to his feet baring his teeth.
"I don't want to have to hurt you!" The puffadore growled looking about the street. There was a gang of people not too far down the way, a large lighira, a nixi and an animal he hadn't seen before. He wanted to call to them but found that the air he had in his lungs was knocked out of him when the nixi grabbed him and shook him about.

"Ye need ta get yer eyes checked n' yer head examined, goodie two shoes." She spat as Byrd strutted off like he was mister high and mighty himself. "We'll see who gets the last werd in on'it matey." She grumped, holding her thumb up in the air and her tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth, just behind her buckteeth.

Then she turned and slung her seabag back over her shoulder and faced Kana. "Ahoy there messmate," she said with a gleem in her eye. "Would ye happen ta be headin' ta de Nort' Star too? Say, them's mighty shiny pigstickers ye got there." She enquired and asked admirably. "Expectin' ta lose a bunch o'em o'erboard lass?"

Her ear twitched and she turned her head hearing the sound of the puffadore grunt from the jab to his stomach...

The Aurleon smirked spitting the cigar out. "I t'ink someone needs and attitude change." He said pointing at the lighira. "Get 'im boys!" The thing squawked. The vulynx lundged was the lion like animal landing on his back where it grabbed a month full of hair. It was unable to fully hurt the animal due to its size difference though it was enough to destract it from the puffadore. The nixi on the other hand kept shaking Tulio about. The puff was unable to fight back between the dizzy filling and the fact that he was much smaller than his attacker. He stood little to no chance again the nixi even if he could fight.

Horrified by the death of one of his henchmen the Aurleon turned tail and flew off leaving the scented cigar burning in the alleyway. As for the nixi he struggled to get free of the lighira having been left by his master. The puffadore groaned as he was thrown again landing with a thud on the street. Carefully he stood once his head cleared though he was covered in spit and smelled awful now. Great just great! He would need a bath after this, and a long one. He looked at the crew eyeing each one of them. "Many of thanks my friends." He said shaking his fur some causing the map to fall free of his belt. Hastily he bend down and picked it up in his mouth slipping it back in his belt. "But I must be going. I was to meet someone in the inn and it seems as though I am late yet again. Good day." Though he stopped as he saw the inn door crash down into the street. "A typical bar fight, just what I need. Garvin won't be pleased if I don't meet him as promised. Say you guys don't happen to know him do you?"

Tavi's eyes twinkled yet again, could she really have the misfortune of bumping into these idiots twice in the same week? She set her bag back down with a sigh. "Git those pigstickers ready lass, an' play'long wit' me." She then began to hop skip onto a barrel and ran closer to the action.

"Down boy!" Crystal ordered Byrd. Not actually expecting him to, but it was a good excuse to get under goodie-two shows skin. Though by the time they arrived, the aurleon and company already fled.

"Perhaps next time Jinx..." She scowled at the back of the aurleon.

While the puffy was gathering his things, Crystal noticed the care too which he bundled the scrap of parchment or paper up into his belt. Her eyes glinted as she smiled at the puffadore happening to mention the captain by name. "Yer in luck matey, we er members o' the crew o' Cap'n McCoy's ship, Nort' Star. Now why don' ye scamper 'long wit' us matey an' ye can meet 'im n' yon quarterdeck." She flashed her pearly whites at him and sidled up right next to him and put a hand across his shoulders.

"Come 'long n' ye can tell us what bidness ye'ave wit' de cap'n, eh?"
