Rhythm's sleep went to the stage of extremely loud and obnoxious snoring.

Coastal grabbed a vine off the tree, loosely wrapping it around Rhythm's snout, enough so she could breath, but also enough so her snoring was quiet. She gave a content sigh, then went back to guarding.

Rhythm was still drooling and breathing small amounts of fire, so the ropes were burned and the horrendous snoring started again.

Coastal rolled her eyes, snorting in annoyance. "Fine then" She whispered, grabbing a decent sized rock. she put the rock on the top of the sleeping dragon's mouth, closing it, but giving her room to breathe out of her nose.

This seemed to be the only way to stop the snoring that could cause a mountain to collapse.

Coastal walked back to her post with contentedness, proud of her work. She sat back down, watching for any sign of movement.

Rhythm was now in the sleep stage where she would be tossing and turning all night.

Coastal groaned in annoyance, knowing the rock might fall off.

Can it just be morning?

Darkness yawned and glared at the brightening sun. It was normal, and she knew she would have to get used to it eventually, but she still much preferred the darkness. She snorted; of course she would prefer her namesake.
