Trait Extractors and Trait Scrolls

Trait Extractors



These items are used to create a Trait Scroll of a specific trait that can be used on another pet to give them that trait.
At this time the only kind of Trait Extractor is [Trait Extractor (Restricted Wild)]

- [Trait Extractor (Restricted Wild)] can be used on Tamed or Exclusive pets. Offspring and Generated pets are Ineligible to have traits extracted.

- The Restricted Trait must be a Visible trait. It does not matter if there is a different trait Hidden under the Restricted trait.

- The pet will lose trait points in that slot entirely, making the slot (NN) Nothing.

- Pets that have Offspring are Ineligible to have traits extracted.


Trait Scrolls



Created via use of a Trait Extractor, or bought from the Diamond Shop on special occasions. They function in effectively the same manner as a Restricted Trait Disruptor, but will apply the exact trait that the scroll pertains to

- These can be used on any Tamed, Exclusive, or Offspring pet. They cannot be applied to already existing Generated pets.

- If a scroll of a trait is present in the inventory, the trait can be applied to a pet being generated using Mystical or Divine essences.

- The pet must have at least one visible trait slot, with no restricted trait present. A Visible trait will be lost on application of the Scroll, 2tp for 2tp.

- The trait slot which the scroll will affect cannot Restricted trait present; it must contain either no trait or a Carried or Visible non-Restricted trait (Hidden included).
If it is a Visible trait, this is the trait that will be removed and replaced by the new trait.
If it is a Carried trait, the pet will lose this trait and another, Visible, non-Restricted, trait (losing 1tp from its previous total).

- In the case of pre-existing pets, a pet cannot have a Scroll applied if it already has a trait of that Scroll's set.
In the case of a pet in the process of being made via a Mystical or Divine Essence, the pet can be generated with multiple traits from the same set, so long as all the correct Trait Scrolls are present in the inventory.
