So after several years of hand picking which pets to feed, I used the Stablehand function. I can't remember the options and since it is still active, I can't see them. But I think I "bought" the 2-3 week option.

After reading it, I understood the function to just cost less to feed your pets the more you have. Awesome.

All of my pets were suffering from malnutrition since I am a bad hoarder parent. I get on today, and everyone has been fed. What happened? I didn't do that. Did my stablehand? Did I misread that the stablehand would AUTOMATICALLY spend my money? I think all of my gold is here; I don't really keep mental inventory since the amount is at the top of the page and no one else spends it so I can't be sure.

Once you hire a stablehand, do they just tend your pets for free during their hired time? Or did she spend my hard earned gold? Or did some stranger go through and feed all 3,845 pets? I'm so confused.

The stablehand will feed your pets every day during the time period you have purchased. She will deduct her pay from your gold automatically every day as well.

Yes, the stablehand feature automatically feeds - and heals - any hungry adult and adolescent pets. You still pay the cost of the food, plus her daily wage (a measly 100 gold, how does she live??). As far as I know, the gold is subtracted from your account at midnight every day during your contract. :)

However, Rosemary also has a special skill that offers a huge discount on the cost of food for pets.The more pets you have, the higher the discount - up to 80% off. I don't even notice the gold is gone. xD

Thank you both so much. In reading that post too, I remembered that little helpful log button that shows how much was paid and such.
