After a few moments, his head perked up "Nope! that's a new one! What's your name? Anima? Great! I'll write it down now, Venus, a writing vine please!" Midnight said to his friends. Venus held a vine out to Midnight, who wrote down the new insult to his friend. The trio proceed to run and dance around the Larvitar, before they went back to the places they stood before

"I'm sure I can handle a few little jolts of electricity, I'm much tougher than I look, so you don't have to worry, it's great to meet you Volt" Aurora said confidently

"It's lovely to meet you Volt" Midnight said politely.

The Guildmaster finished eating and went to the 1st floor, getting ready for announcements.

Flit fluttered around the room saying: "Announcements in five minutes!"

Venus wrapped her vines around her teammates "C'mon guys, we can't be late for our first announcements!" Venus said excitedly, dragging her friends along.

Prince, Alex, and Hailey groaned. They were late for breakfast on their first day. How embarrassing.

When most of the pokemon had gathered, Wave began her announcements.

"Good morning Everyone! Before we get to work today, have have a few quick things to say.
First and foremost, I'd like to welcome to our new recruits. I think I speak for all of us when I say your going to love it here,"

Wave waited for a couple of cheers to die down before continuing.

"Second, the expedition to Mirage Desert is in a few days..." there were more cheers this time. "... And Nettle and I are already selecting people to go. The list will be released the night before the expadition."

There was a bit of excited chatter and a few nervous murmurs from the crowd.

"And finally, today's assignments. Check the job and outlaw notice boards and take one that best suits you and your team. That's all for today," She concluded. The crowd gave out one last cheer before dispersing.

"Oh, we better work extra hard so we can try to make it on this expedition!" Venus said to her friends, determined to go on this expedition "Now lets go pick out a job!" Venus encouraged her friends "Yeah!" they agreed excitedly, rushing over to the job board.

"This one!" Venus said, randomly jabbing a job request from the board, she pulled it down and put it in front of her partners.
"Hmm, it says we have to rescue a Pichu in Illusion forest, it seems her parents put out this request, they must be so worried" Aurora said, worried. "Well we better hurry, I'll lead the way to the forest" Midnight said, taking out his map.

Eventually, the trio arrived at the forest, ready to start their first dungeon.

Anima : Mirage Desert it is, Volt we should train your water move for it. Rock pokemon will obviously not be a problem for us but ground type may become tricky.

Volt : You think you can beat your last record ?

Anima : Maby, i nead to expend my time anyway so a 3 is possible.

Volt : We go in the same training spot ?

Anima : Why change, that's the perfect place anyway, nobody bother us in the Illusion forest anyway.

The trio finally managed to reach the floor Pichu was at. "Hello, small one, don't be afraid, your parents sent us to rescue you" Venus told the small baby pokemon, the three showing their explorer badges. She reached out a vine "Come with us, we'll take you home" Venus reassured the young pokemon.

Alex raced ahead towards the boards that held the job and outlaw notices. He paused and read it over. Hailey bumped into him and sighed. "Alex can you promise me something?" "Yeah." "Will you teach me how to read?" "Of course I would, but first let's find a job or outlaw quest."
