Nakisha heard an eery laugh. "Oh thank goodness he's alright," she murmured to herself. Noticing Wildfire tilt her head curiously, Nakisha quickly added, "Oh yea. I forgot to tell you I can hear over 10 miles in all directions."

Shadow ran fast as he could dodging rogue flames and he then continued on. He wasn't breathing fast nor slow but it was almost silent. He laughed again. He didn't need much air to live. If he wanted he could swim to anywhere but he would miss the forest. He then saw his friend in the distance.

Looking in his direction, the nabishka screached hapily as she saw her friend heading their way.

Shadow slid underneath a flame that had sprung up. He laughed and sprinted to the end. "Hey what's with the fire?" Shadow asked

"Yea I may or may not have put the forest into eternal fire... No biggy?" Nakisha said in a sarcastic questionable tone.

"Yeah it's not like I have to find a new home or anything." Shadow growled. His voice was low like always but the scent of death lingered around him. He seemed to be the one who always had death lurking behind him. He then shifted uncomfortably. He was seemed always uncomfortable. His eyes were lit with something no one knew and every human ran from him because he could cut his vital organs and still live. He could have his neck slit and he would still be alive.

Wildfire looked up to Shadow, "S-shado, is that you?"

"Yeah." Shadow said. "The only shadow of shadows."

"Yeah. You are the one and only true shadow, Shadow." Nakisha complimented his stealth.

Shadow smiled and sat down.
