In order to play this game, your character must be a kelpari. This can either be one of your pets or one you generated. All characters will start out as hatchlings but will become adolescents in 5 turns.

A shoal of fish swims by. "Mommy, I'm going out!" you yell, chasing after them. In about an hour, you are completely and utterly lost. You look around franticly as the fish dart away. You don't recognize anything. Your thrashing shakes a rock loose from a ledge above you. It falls and hits you. You go limp and drift along with the current.

You wake up a day later in a strange underwater canyon. You look around. To your left, the canyon stops abruptly and you see a dark hole in the canyon wall. To your right, the canyon widens and the floor becomes covered with kelp. Above you, you see the light of the sun. Which way do you go?

Rules

1) Don't be offended if I don't respond for a while. I am busy and making this up on the spot.
2) After you finish the game, you can play again in 3 days.
3) I'm only going to be giving away pets.
4) There will be a low chance of your character dying, but you will still get a prize.
5) You can be caught. This will only happen if you stray close to the surface/shore and will prevent you from playing for a number of days.

In the dark cave, you see bioluminescent mushrooms things. They line the walls of the cavern you are in and the walls of one of the two tunnels. Do you follow the mushrooms, go down the dark tunnel, or eat one of the mushrooms?

(Rest assured, I will not eliminate you this early.)
