Totally saw this coming though lol.

As a special perk to those who farmed endlessly (or paid heftily) to obtain their Patriotic Staves before the original cut-off time, we have turned them into a [Patriotic Staff of Stars]. This staff is not obtainable in game any other way.



The Nightfall Traitors will continue to drop the Patriotic Staff for the remainder of the festival as announced earlier today.

Ooooh nice! I like the patriotic staff of stars. Now I don't feel so bad about freaking out over trying to get one. <3

I don't understand, then how can I obtain one? sorry I'm not familiarized with sylestia terms yet, so what do you mean with "farmed" or "paid heftily"? (I feel kinda dump asking that, sorry ^^U)

The Patriotic Staff of Stars no longer drops in-game. Yesterday we planned on only having the Patriotic Staff and Sparklers drop in the game for the 4th of July...but due to people requesting more time we allowed them to continue to be found in the festival zone until the end of the summer festival.

Because of this some people paid a lot of gold or diamonds expecting the staff to be only in the game for yesterday, so to keep those staffs valuable we added some star particle effects to it. The Patriotic Staff though, the one without the stars, can still be found in game.

Oh so the staff was for who paid and played a lot yesterday or just for who paid? I say it because I played literally all night lookig for the staff too, but I'm just curious. That guys are really tough to find D:

No, there was no way to buy the staff. But some players did pay a lot of gold (or diamonds) to buy it from other players. Which is why i added that part.

I understand now, I wish I could have it, but not complain!
Thanks for extend the dates of traitors and patriotic pet anyway, that makes my life a lot easier XD

Even though not all of this stuff is affecting me directly, I just wanted to say I love playing games where it's obvious the people running them care about drops rates and rarities and getting stuff right and are willing to change things around if needed. <3

Aw this sucks! D: I farmed for hours on the 4th and 5th morning, and didn't see a single traitor and now I'll never have all the items from the event(cause surly no one will be selling theirs for a reasonable price) ;; I suppose I shouldn't have slept after all. . . Perhaps they can be a reward for forum games as well so I can at least dream of having a chance of getting one, however unlikely it may be.
