I'm starting my first breeding project, (link here) and I was wondering how to price the offspring of the final pair.
They will be 3vis nytekrie.
to complete the project I will need 14 pet dyes, and I can probably only get 6 with my scales and ones I already have. I am giving a free chick to people who donate a dye.

So can anybody help me decide how much these pets should cost?

Base price: 2000 for each vis, 1000 for each carry

Factors to Consider

1) Are they tagged or purebred? If yes, raise price
2) How much do you like them? If a lot, raise price
3) What you're going to call the project (cool names will make more people click. I suggest lightning rod/storm nykterie)
4) Do you need greater or lesser pet dyes? I can probably get you one.

(BTW, going rates for themed offspring are around 200k for 3-vis)

Personal projects are always tricky to price. Some people have pricing rubrics, but I personally just base it on how much work and time I put into a project.

I tend to stick around the 20k mark for 3 vis, because that's what I saw around in the Breeding forums when I was having trouble pricing my stuff xD Considering the prices of essences or dyes (depending on how you do the project), it doesn't seem too unreasonable.



(P.S. - I actually had my own nytekrie project with 2 out of the 3 traits you're using, lol. It's cool to see more nytekries! They're so underappreciated imo. I'll check out your project thread ^-^)
