Are you only allowed to submit fanfiction to those forums or can you contribute original stories?
I'm way to old a player to need to ask this I'm so sorry

You can submit sylestia fanfiction, or unrelated original stories, in the respective forums:
Fan fiction forum
Other fiction forum
So long as the story is written by you, you can post whatever you want in the right forum.
