Emalf watched from the shadows, humming silently with her. He saw her bow and tensed, thinking she knew he was there, but as he watched her she realized she had no idea in the slightest he was there.

Recovering quickly, she danced back in the middle and cleared her throat. She thought she saw someone in the shadows, but quickly dismissed it as the lighting messing with her. Taking a quick bow, she took in a deep breathe and started singing "Lone Digger", dancing to the beat. Her tail swept behind her as she danced.

Emalf watched, intrigued. The way she swayed, the way her tail danced like it had a mind of it's own . . . He shook his head, as if trying to clear it of the thoughts. Then, it was as if lightning struck him or as if his logic shut off. He would dance with her. He stepped into the clearing and walked towards it, watching her. He took a deep breathe and started singing "Magic".

She looked at Emalf and recognized him from before. She smiled as he started singing "Magic" and drank in his deep voice. Then, she added her soprano to it, and it was like a duet. She didn't know when, but she took his paws and swayed with the rhythm, trying to get him to dance.

Realizing her attempts to get him to dance, he gave in and moved with her body, a perfect synchronization with her and the beat.

Looking up, Emalf saw the sun about to rise. Stopping the dance, he bowed and said "Well, my time is up" before slipping into the shadows.

Damen went out after his mate and kids were asleep. He walked to where he found the end of Scar's trail in the trees.

Amber pouted as the wolf left but climbed into her tree. She picked up the rabbit she caught earlier and skinned it with a small, dull dagger. Hanging the pelt to dry, she ate what meat the rabbit had.

Emalf returned to the den without food again, so he slipped outside right before he entered. Spotting a small bird, he pounced on it and carried it home to make up for his time outside. The refrigerator was still stuffed with deer. He thought about the dance with the fox and smiled.
