I'm a big fan of roleplaying and lore, and also breeding and things. I'm having trouble designing my starter pet, probably because of all the things I can do with them.

I;d like to learn about the lore here, what do people normally rp? How do you manage your pets? What are valuable traits?

One of the awesome things about sylestia is that it's really open for you to decide how you want characters and pets to be. Though i understand how that could make it difficult to make your first pet! Just keep in mind - you will very likely be getting a lot more pets in the future!

The lore is kind of something you'll discover as you play - there's no encyclopaedia or anything. I think a really fun part of the game is learning more about the world while you explore it! We know about some gods and goddesses, but the large part of the world is unknown to us as of yet!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by managing pets, but trait wise the ones toward the bottom of the drop-down lists tend to be more sought-after since they're newer. However, value tends to be assigned based on the whole pet - how the colors and traits flow together, and is heavily influenced by personal preferences.

It seems most of your questions have already been answered, but I thought I'd throw my two-cents in about pet management.
Managing your pets is pretty easy (especially when you only have a few) because all they need is feeding. However, once you have lots of pets to feed, the stablehand will come in very handy. You can hire her to feed all your pets every day for a given number of days, depending on what you can afford at the time.

To find the stablehand, click on the face of your avatar while viewing your stables, and a window should come up with the stablehand options and a dropdown menu for duration.

It's probably not worth it to hire her yet, since you have so few pets to feed, but she is a valuable ally for later on.

You can also purchase more tabs and stables to hold pets, but they can be a bit expensive to start.
I'm going to send you a few items to get you started, (and a message to set up some coin exchange) but doing missions in town regularly is a great way to earn money and equipment too.

good question! I normally do animal based RP's (personal preference)
I dont know of any big Avetar based RP's Riht now though unfortunatly

Other: Her Ice Blue eyes seem to glow in the Dark, Has abnormally Large ears and small paws. Loves To sing but is a bit shy in front of others so se only sings alone.

It all in all really comes down to whether you like the pet or not. Although old themes/restricted trait pets sell for more, there's generally more sales in pets that aren't themed but have a beautiful color combonation. Just look at how well the colors go together and if you like the pet. I reccomend going to Advanced Search and searching for a species you like for sale and browse within your budget, there are some beautiful pets I've gotten for under 100 gold :)
