How does it work? How do you 'create' a kingdom?

Why do we need to create a kingdom? I just wanna be in this RP like a sylesti caught up in the war and determined to get revenge by stopping this war and making sylestia free ;^;

King:
King Helios of Eternys is a kind soul though he will put his foot down when need be. He will do what ever is right for his kingdom while letting his wisdom make the best choice possible. He is a retired knight this his skills in battle are superior to most. His rein on his kingdom is long lived and will continue on for quiet some time.
Queen:
Queen Neaera of Eternys is a sight to see. Though she is Royal she likes to spend most of her time in the village inside the castle walls with the wives that live down there. She is a generous soul that like to give to the less fortunate and help anyone in need.
Prince/Princess or both:
Prince Hyperion of Eternys is a active body, he is always on the go. If he's not off being a knight or adventuring he can be found in his study looking over the many books that he reads. Hyperion is kind to others and a risk taker when the going gets tough, though it's with good reason. His is polite and a gentleman at heart.
Backstory of royal family: Queen Neaera is one of the unlucky women that was never able to bare children. Her and Helios tried for years with no luck, until one day they finally gave up hope. She went into a depression that lasts months on end. Who would take the throne once they were gone? That's when she found Hyperion. It was on one of her morning walks around the village outside the walls when she came across a pup in the middle of the road with scavengers trying to finish him off. He couldn't have been over a few hours old but even then she knew he would make a fine son. Thus she took him in and raised him as her own and he never knew differently. Eternys does not side with the battle but fights for peace and freedom.

Gender: male
Personality: Some call him a saint when he is away from a fight and a devil when in battle. Hyperion tries to be a gentleman to everyone even the ones that get under his skin, though some he ends up snapping at. He is very headstrong and will break the rules to stand up for what he sees fit.

Personality: Hekate is a playful beings that loves to travel and learn the arts of magic. She is wise and loving of all. Life is ment to be lived happily in her eyes.

Backstory: her and Hyperion met in battle one day and became good friends before the end of the fight. Now they travel together everywhere.

You don't have to make a kingdom, it's just that the more kingdoms created the more variety there is to chose from. At least that's my understanding.

I don't get that at all but is it possible for me to be from a different kingdom entirely? Like were surrounded by water, and lets say there's more islands and I come from one of them. Is that allowed?

King(personality and image):


King Basileus: Has a quick temper but is slow to violence. He is a fighter as well as a King, and always goes to battle with his warriors. He is slow to action, always considering every option before coming to a decision. While others see that as indecisive, most people understand it be wisdom. He listens to his advisors, and always does what is best for his forest cities. He is beloved by his people, and chose his queen from among the working class.

Queen(Personality&Pic):


Queen Regina: Born the daughter of a carpenter and midwife, she caught the kings attention when she was picking herbs for her mother. Love at first sight, though he was in disguise and she didn't know at first who he was, they were married quickly. She gave him a son and a daughter before it was decided that is was too dangerous for her to have more children. Since she was born to commoners, she is always helping out the poor and working class citizens.

Prince Regulus: Idolizes his father and fights in the army alongside him. He also loves to learn, and when not on the training grounds with the other soldiers, he is in the library. He is restless, and every year takes a couple months to travel the realm, going to every city, speaking with their scholars and sparring with their fighters.



Princess Filia: Very smart and kind hearted, Princess Filia works with the healers and is training to be a healer herself. She enjoys picking herbs, and spends time with her maternal grandmother learning what she can from her. When she is not training with to be a healer, or with her grandmother, she spends time with patients, cheering them up and helping any way she can. She also works with the orphans of the realms, helping them find families whenever she can.


Backstory of royal family: The royal family don't want another emperor. So while they push for peace, they fight for freedom.
