You have to keep seeking by using shovels or fishing poles to find water and clay. Don't think there's any other ways around that.

last year there were bundles one could buy or find do u know what happened

for water/clay? not that i remember or can find.

There are now bundles of clay and water in the festival shop as well as the diamond shop. They were just added recently.
