I hardly ever go fight monsters because the rewards just aren't good enough for me to want too. The only time I actually go out of my way to kick some bandit hut is during the festivals. Where the prizes actually make it worthwhile. I think that 15 gold on occasion is not a big enough reward for fighting monsters. I think something closer to 100 gold per monster would be a better reward. Not to mention the item you get, for every twenty fights you might at best get an item worth 200 gold. Maybe rewards are better in higher level areas but I haven't gotten there. Because I got bored and didn't think it was worth my time which is exactly my point.

In summary:

Rewards for fighting are few and far between and I think increasing them would really encourage players to go through the story of Sylestia and play more.

the lower the rewards are for hunting monsters the more value the gold have. Lets say we get 100g/mob every time the value of money would drop a LOT so that buying diamonds would requier even more gold than it does now. Alsoe the price of traps would be increased to help counter the new masses of money pouring into the system. And gold dont make people intrested in the story, the story in its self should make people intrested in it. I my self find it boring and cliche as well and non nyansed. I dont do the story cause i find it boring and unintresting, not because a lack of money, that we get from missions without a problem :)

I disagree. Going from 15 to 100 per bandit is hardly a huge overload of gold. Traps do not need to get more expensive either because that would defeat the purpose of going from 15 to 100 to begin with. It's not a bad thing perse for the worth of gold to go down in the broker either. Because it honestly won't change much. If the worth of gold goes down and the prices go up in the broker nothing will really change in comparision. Where we will see changes is in the actual world map. With more gold earned, but the pricing of the items staying the same, people will have more room to explore and have fun then they do now. especialy new players.

The people who invest in fighting bandits wil get more gold. It's gold EARNED, and not bought. I think it's a very fair way to gain more gold as now it means people who put in efford in the game also get richer in the game.

Items in the games get cheaper in comparision as well, like traps. That is also a good thing, Especially for newer players who often have a hard time keeping their pets fed and healthy, never mind buying traps.

So if they could gain more gold in battles, they could take care of their pets better, save up for more stable room faster, and but more traps and enjoy the fun of catching sylesties faster.

And as suggested, it makes people more interested and invested to play the actual game again. To play missions and such. To you that might not make difference as you already mentiond you don't care for the actual game.

But many other people do. In fact the actual game/world map is my favorite part of the game. But I don't like spending hours in the world map if I have little to show for it. So it stops me from playing and just makes me go do other stuff instead (Like playing pokemon games, or watching anime).

People who don't care for the actual game can stay away just like they are doing now, but people who like to spend more time in the actual game will now have more rewarding reasons to do so.

An increase in gold is not only gives more opportunities to newer players, it's also a great way to make the world map interesting again. And any gold earned will truly be EARNED as it takes play time to get gold that way.

I really like this idea. I always enjoyed playing around in the world map. But what you gain in doing so is so little that it's hardly worth the time. I hope your idea will be used. The older parts of the world map (the 2 and a half regions available now) and everything in it could do with a little boost to make it interesting for people again.

If we increse the money that players gain without incresing either the number of moneysinks (black holes that loves money) we will in due time have a inflation on the site that wil rival what most mmorpgs have. Lets say in the beginning of a game a sylesti with 5v1c in traits costs 5k. After about 2years it could cost 55k. This means that we have a inflation, the money loosing its value, due to the money flooding into the market. Without any moneysinks or to few of them newer players wont be able to actuall buy any pets from the older players. So to counter the incresing money in a game they will have to either raise prices or add new moneysinks.

The sinks that is already in system today is a bit low and could be raised as it is. if the value of gold goes down and the prices on the broker does go up it will be a diffrence. It will be more expensive. Right now 100dias can occasionally be bought for around 290k, but if gold is more common they will lose value making diamonds, cost more to get, for example 590k for 100 rather 290k as now.

I dont argue with the fact that the gold earned by fighting bndits ist earnd Im simply stating that the rewards in a game dont make it intresting, unless its lotto, horseracing or what not there you can win real money. the game should be intreaging enough on its own, even if you removed the rewards, they are just extras. A really simple and easy way to actually get money is missions. When one 12h long mission is done you will get 7.5k as your founding reward. As an aditional reward you get a missionsatchel that can give you money (up to 9k i belive), armour, potions, tokens and really rarly essences. The non money rewards can be sold to get you even more money or to equip your pets with.

The ridiculous easy way to gain money from the missions makes it unefficient to go farm, simply max out your missionslots and spam them. You can, as it stands now, have 6missionslots. 6*7.5 = 45k just in the foundational reward if you succed, I cant recall failing unless I picked the wrong pet so its not that hard to get a lot of money each day.

If a player cant feed their pets we older players typicly dont mind helping out once and nodding them towards the missions, wich as stated in the previous paragraph is a really good way to get your founds up and running. We even give them money by buying something like a mushroom from them if needed be. Their lack of founds isnt due to the low droppings but rather them getting ahead of them selves and not exploring and asking around how to be efficent. I cant recall a single person beeing disapointed in how easy it is to add to their wealth due to missions.

The maps will however not be affected by a increse in gold, the only thing i really see beeing incresed would be the inflation. Even since I begun to play (maby 1.4years ago) the price of 100dias have been raised by about 50k due to the loss of value of the gold. So I dont see any further inflation helping the beginners rather than slowing them down as it will be harder to catch up to the point there they can buy diamons to increse stables and so on.

And as I said, the story it self should be able to propell the player through it, not the rewards. They are just there as extras. Hope I made my point a bit clearer.
