As you're walking through the usual streets of the Sylestia Forums, you notice a new building in the area. It seems rather large, but it's windowless and only has two doors.
The building itself is painted red, and decorated with many banners and other things. They all seem to say: "PokeTournament Dome Now Open! Prizes and Fame Await!"
Intrigued, you walk through the door to a lavishly decorated lobby. At the far end of the room, there is a desk with a girl working busily and an Eevee on her shoulder. Deciding to walk over to her, she doesn't notice you, at least, not at first. With a little nudging from her companion, she looks up at you with curious dark blue eyes.
"Oh, hi there! I didn't notice you!" She says with a bright smile. "It's a good thing Copper here looks out for me." She gestures to the Eevee. "Anyways, welcome to the newly opened PokeTournament Dome! We provide the Pokemon, and each is base set to level fifty. We also use a special website to enlist the battle, known as PokeStadium. You should go check it out, it's really useful! Anyways, would you like to sign up for a tournament? This is what's available as of now:

"Oh, by the way. If we can't get enough members for a tourney, my boss, Typhlosion usually steps in and does it, too! We have a special process for finding out which Pokemon you're going to get for it, though. I can't disclose it, as you could cheat the system, or at least not disclose it fully. I will tell you this about the process, though. Each letter is a type.
Since there are eighteen types and twenty six letters, some letters share the same type.
A- Fairy
B- Grass
C- Water
D- Normal
E- Poison
F- Bug
G-Ice
H- Ground
I- Ghost
J- Dragon
K- Flying
L- Psychic
M- Normal
N- Ice
O- Bug
P- Fairy
Q- Rock
R- Water
S- Electric
T- Fire
U- Fighting
V- Dark
W- Grass
X- Steel
Y- Water
Z- Normal
You get to pick your six letters, but the random comes in from there. You give me a number per each letter as well, and we'll see what you get! The number adds in by taking the letter, dividing it by the number, and multiplying that by ten. Then multiply it once more by ten, divide by the number, and find the Pokemon with that type closest to the number. It sounds complicated, I know.
Then what's left is to give your team a moveset and create it on Pokemon Showdown. You need to have an account to do this, but that's easy!
To start the tourney, we'll assign who has to go against who. When you get assigned that, you'll have to complete the battle within twenty four hours. If a player can't make it, they forfeit. To find your opponent, press the find user button and search them up, and challenge them to the battle. When you finish the battle, report to one of the staff (if we hire anymore) to update the roster.
Now, forms will be on the next post, as well as rules."

Rules:
1. No CHEATING. Please do not calculate the stuff yourselves and pick and choose the stuff you want. It ruins the fun D:
2. Don't join every tournament if you don't have to. Let other people have fun too!
3. If you win twice in a row (1st place) you are not eligible for getting prizes for two more tourneys
4. Please do not apply if you cannot be here enough to do the tournament. It makes it easier for us all.
"We could use some help managing everything! Even though you're staff, you can probably still participate in tourneys from time to time, if you'd like. These are the roles open:
Moderator- Helps foresee the thread smoothly and keeps everything running in case something happens to me.
