Name: Tide Sleeper (Renamed to Shark by Inkheart)
Personality: Quiet, shy Sylvorpa, doesn't like young Sylestis.
Backstory: Taken from his family as a egg, Tide Sleeper was trained to be a arena guard. He hates violence, and freed as many trapped Sylestis as he could.
Family: Unknown/dead.

Appearance: Personality: Secretive, cunning, honorable
Backstory: Mistsinger was captured in a village raid by Inkheart and was drafted as a spy/assassin to Inkheart. Inkheart kept her in line by keeping her younger sister Lotuslight hostage/servant. Mistsinger got tattoos on her hands(or is it flippers?) to remind her of her lost family. She felt sorry for Flicker and felt he has the best chance to escape and live if she helped him.

Now that I have so many entries it has occurred to me that I should choose when the contest will end. I guess I'll end it Aug. 10th. I would end it the ninth, but that's my mom's birthday.

Personality: Kind, but firm. Not afraid to give her life for someone else. She won't tell anyone, but she is an excellent fighter.
Backstory: Ink Heart attacked her home and Sea Stone was taken to train and fight under Ink Heart's command. She was at the lowest of her class and was treated horribly. She was kicked starved and forced to do things she hated. She hates seeing other Sylestis have to work under Ink Heart's black soul and frees them whenever she gets the chance.
Family:
Scallop: Sea Stone's Mother, killed in the attack by Ink Heart
Glass Fin: Sea Stone's Father, left when Sea Stone was a baby
Crab: Sea Stone's baby brother, abandoned after the attack
