Yes, I have returned with two ideas to share :)
1. Not letting newbies have access to certain forum areas until a certain level is reached.
Not trying to be harsh, but in some areas I think people should have to gain a certain area to access it. Them being in news, bugs, newbie help roleplay is fine.
But... I find it annoying when I find a bunch of level 0-3 players have the annoying threads called: "need room for new pets, cheap pets from newbies, HELP MY PETS ARE GETTING RELEASED" <------ those are annoying. Having them to level up to level 5/ or 10 or whatever number is not a big deal.
It gives them incentive to level up. Sales forum isn't clogged up. And three the newbies quit after playing for a day and buying a bunch of pets and trying to resell them for a lot more money.
^my personal opinion on that one
2. Opening a newbie forum thread for saying hello!
I've seen on many sites where newbies can pop in and say hello and introduce themselves. Saying hi to other players is a great way to maybe *or maybe not* stay a tiny bit longer.
Maybe receive that privilege at level 5? Level 5 isn't that hard to get to, plus it again would maybe give incentive. The reason I say that is because since I joined about a year and 1/3 ago, around 30k players have joined *since the last time I checked, and rounded to the ten thousands*. Seeing even a 10th of that would be 3k and that is a lot of threads. Plus... you wouldn't have to have a bunch of "play this for an hour bc I'm bored then quit" newbies having threads.
Just my opinion. Please don't take any of this to heart, it's meant to 've a suggestion not some life or death thing. Constructive criticism is always welcome :3

I agree >.< I love newbies, but when I go into the sales forum, there are threads where n00bs are selling traitless pets with terrible colors and stats. It gets REALLY annoying. Sure, I think they should be able to enter and look around at the sales, but I think making a thread should be restricted.

I don't like that this is what I(and others) have seen happening, but it's true. With that said I do agree that SOMETHING would be great to better support the new players(those that I want to say are level 10, and under). Making parts of the Forums unlockable as they level up or maybe have like a super dedicated forum section for new players(other than the help forums). I've seen a few other sites do a dedicated Introductions forum, Newbie Help Packages, and other various strictly dedicated newbie forums. I noticed that on those sites they DID in fact help some because there was more support for them beyond a dedicated few Veteran, and 6 month+ players that are kind enough to reach out to them.
I'll totally agree that I really also do find it very sad and annoying to always see all the post from New Players that are trying to sell their pets...I've even had to start more or less screen my friend requests because I was getting so many new and newish players that essentially beg me to buy their pets via pms...
It would be really nice to see something done to more peacefully resolve that issue too.

Just throwing in my own comments here...
I really don't think such a thing would work. Already I've been seeing an influx of threads placed in the wrong section anyway.
Selling Offspring in Games, Contests, and Giveaways
Pet set up for breeding (with a fee) in Games, Contests, and Giveaways
And that's just page 1 of the Games, Contests, and Giveaways thread section.
Page two also has an 'adoption' sales forum, which still comes with a fee and thus, isn't a giveaway. And another that's straight up called "Sale" in Games, Contests, and Giveaways and another simply called "Breeders"
I didn't bother to look any further than Page 2 seeing as that alone has given me plenty of examples of misplaced forum threads.
Why do these always end up in the Games, Contests, and Giveaways section ..? >_>;
Anyway, my main point is that I don't think locking off the sales thread area until a certain level is reached would really change anything. The newer players would likely just move their thread to the wrong location and post them regardless, which would just add more problems elsewhere. Instead of the sales forums being clogged up, the threads would find their way to one of the already unlocked areas.
The one thing I would suggest is changing the "Pet Auctions" part of the Marketplace strictly to "Pet Sales" in the hopes of re-routing some of these posts to the proper section. There's a chance some newer players may just be confused on that end. Although I don't think Games, Contests, and Giveaways would sound at all like a better alternative in the event of confusion...
*By no means am I trying to point out anyone specifically on the misplaced threads; I'm just pointing out what I've seen. Maybe Krin will notice and move them all where they actually belong.

More forums/subforums with different names and distinctions seems more agreeable to me than a lock-out.
-Separating Games/Contests from Giveaways
-Like Xav mentioned, re-naming Pet Auctions to Pet Sales, and there are also suggestions to split Pet Sales based on what's being sold (ie themed sales, offspring sales, so on and so forth)
-Maybe Breeding forum with the same splits as above
-making a "New Players" section with FAQ and Welcome subforums, and putting more focus for newbie-help to be there in those threads so more new players can go to them
While I know people get "annoyed" by newbies doing what they do, I think having a forum for newbies that also has guides with more awareness towards breeding, pets, and the importance of stable space, there would be less sales of "traitless"/"terrible" pets, and thus less threads trying to sell them.
Awareness to newbies about what is "good" and what is "bad" before heading into more generalized areas where there's a preconceived notion of what's good/bad/wanted/unwanted/annoying/terrible/not terrible is something I advocate. It's probably why there's many threads out there that grates others.
Calling a lock-out a lock-out seems kind of harsh, when it could be a guiding hand instead.

I was once a newbie and we all where. If you think about it it would be unfair for them not to be able to post in certain things. I think a newbie help forum would be a better idea. Newbie "clog up" stuff since they haven't been on long enough to understand everything.
