This is loosely based off of Pegacorn8's Find The Horses thread, but it has a bit more of a plot aspect to it.
More will be explained as you play. :)
[everyone starts with this prompt]
You wake up one day in an unfamiliar room, on an unfamiliar bed, wearing unfamiliar clothes, with an unfamiliar bag next to you. What do you do?
A) Look through the bag
B) Get up and look out the window
C) Try to go back to sleep; this must be a dream
D) Other {Use your imagination}

Over the course of this game, you may find special items and rare creatures, or battle fierce enemies. What do you do in these situations? You buy and sell, or barter and trade. This is the Shop in town, and you may encounter travelling traders as well.
"Welcome!" Says the salesclerk, a young woman with blue hair and pointy ears. "Feel free to browse my wares, and I'm always willing to take items off your hands."
Current items for sale:
One book of twenty matches
Cost: 100G
Quantity: 10
One small knife, good for cutting food and not much else
Cost: 50G
Quantity: 15
Rope, good for climbing or tying
Cost: 125G
Quantity: 5
First Aid Kit
Contains: Five large bandages, ten medium bandages, fifteen small bandages, a roll of gauze, a small container of antiseptic, and a small pair of scissors.
Cost: 500G
Quantity: 25

As you look through the bag, you find a small notebook with a black leather cover, embroidered with golden runes you don't recognize, an apple, some trail mix, a water bottle, and a map. Apparently, someone was planning for a trip.
What do you do now?
A) Look at the map
B) Look out the window
C) Leave the room
D) Look in the closet

When you look out the window, you see a medieval sort of village, with simple houses, some sort of inn, and a store. It's on the edge of a dense forest.
What do you do now?
A) Look through the bag
B) Leave the building
C) Look in the closet
D) Open the window
