What's your opinion on death? What do you think death would be like? Do you think there's anything after this?

What's your opinion on death?
I find it incredibly fascinating. It's just breathtaking how it can transform a breathing, moving, thinking, sentient being into... well, basically a lifeless pile of meat.

What do you think death would be like?
Honestly, I have no idea. But the best case scenario would be absolute nothingness. Like a file that gets deleted off a computer or a book that gets burned. Preferably combined with the feeling of deep, dreamless sleep.

Do you think there's anything after this?
I don't think so.

What's your opinion on death?
I think people interpret death differently, and that's okay. Saddening to some, relieving to others. Natural by scientific means or spiritual by belief. All of those views are okay.
As for me, I think it's an event in time that holds weight like many other milestones in our life. Living weighs more than its end.

What do you think death would be like?
To some, painful. To others, again, natural and inevitable.
Thinking about death gives me a sense of finality that kinda scares me, but I feel that once I grow up, I'll accept it.

Do you think there's anything after this?
I'd like to think so! I hope my doggy is up in heaven eating all the food she likes aha. ;u;
Other people would think differently, of course. But I like to be idealistic, for my doggy at least.

You should read some of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. They're completly fictional, but he has some interesting ideas about death (and Death -a character who appears in many books, often accopanied by the Death of Rats.). I just finished reading Pyramids, one of his earlier ones which has mummies who are complaining about Pyramids in. Reaper Man is also good, its when Death becomes mortal. Mort is another good one, he becomes Deaths apprentice and then messes up. The Hogfather is great too, but that's more a christmas one. There are many more great ones. They are written in a funny way and are a pleasure to read. I highly recomend them. :)
