Edit: Also, I know I said I was 6 in riding ability but I'm not so sure. What do you think? I do hunter/jumper courses with the jumps 3ft or lower, jump oxers, do rollbacks, broken lines and all that stuff in my lessons.

the numbers are about more what you know in a general sence. Basicaly do you know how to pick up feet, can you identify different qualities of a good/bad feild, do you understand horse's body language etc.

Also, your character (and you) do not have enough experience to own a horse yet, let alone a motherless foal (if you have only ridden a few times, have no experice around horses, etc, how can you train one?). I am happy to teach you some basics, but only if you allow me to make some slight alterations to your forms.
