So what exactly are 'Exclusive Pets'? Like why are they considered exclusive?

Exclusive pets are ones you get from means other than catching, breeding, or generating, essentially. Pets from special things like the scratchcards now and past things such as gardening, the Winter Wonderland, and such. Exclusive pets cannot also not be mutated.
