I know, I know. Christmas has already passed. That doesn't mean I can't to a Christmas parody in late March. X3 So, here we go.

~On the first day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the second day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the third day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, three CT Griffis, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the forth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, four Bulboris, three CT Griffis, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the fifth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, five, golden Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the sixth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, six Sylvorpas, five, golden Lighiras... four bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the seventh day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, seven Qitaris, six Sylvorpas, five, golden Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the eighth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, eight Puffadores, seven Qitaris, six Sylvorpas, five, golden Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the ninth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, nine Nytekrie, eight Puffadores, seven Qitaris, six Sylvorpas, five, golden Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the tenth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, ten floating Ryori, nine Nytekrie, eight Puffadores, seven Qitaris, six Sylvorpas, five, stinkin' Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

(Oh shoot, I ran out of space for images... Oh well.)

~On the eleventh day of Christmas the faeries gave to me, eleven wing-ed Draeyl, ten floating Ryori, nine Nytekrie, eight Puffadores, seven Qitaris, six Sylvorpas, five, stinkin' Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and a 6 vis Aeridini.

~On the twelfth day of Christmas the faeries gave to me... *gasp* twelve huge Morkkoes, eleven wing-ed Draeyl, ten floating Ryori, nine Nytekrie, eight Puffadores, seven Qitaris, six Sylvorpas, five, stinkin' Lighiras... four Bulboris, three CT Griffs, two Aurleons, and stables full of pets I need to feed...

That took a lot longer than expected. .3.

Love the ending!

But how about--

"Four male Aurleons,"

or

"Four black Aurleons,"

instead? Either one fits the meter and hearkens back to the actual fourth verse--

"Four collie birds,"
(In this instance, collie means black, from the much older word coalie--meaning "the color of coal.")

or

"Four calling birds,"
(Because it's often male birds who make all the racket.)

Thoughts?

I think that's cool. ^^' Though, I picked two Aurleons because of the Turtle Doves verse. :3 But I do like your idea.

Edit: Maybe I could switch the Bulboris and the Nytekrie?

Oooh, you're right, Nytekries are also birds. I forgot about them and now feel silly. Hm. The word "Nytekries" fits the pattern of "turtledoves" better than the word "Aurleons" does, I think.

"Four black Aurleons,
"Three CT Griffies,
"Two Nytrekies,
"And a six Vis Aeridini."

Also, what's a CT Griffi? If it's a common Sylestian abbreviation, I need to add it to my Sylestia Glossary.

Maybe two *Tamed Aurleons?
And BerryBulbories! They all remind me of different kind of berries. This was a great idea

:3 Thank you. I actually got this idea from going through the Forgotten dungeon when it said "7 Qitaris", and I randomly said it in that tune. X3 Hehe. And as for the Berry Bulbories, I'll consider it.

Thank you! I don't collect Griffies, so I hadn't seen that abbreviation before. I must totally add it to the Glossary.

Also, maybe it could be--

"Five . . . golden . . . eggs!
"Four black Aurleons,
"Three CT Griffies,
"Two wild Nytrekies,
"And a six Vis Aeridini."

The gift for the fifth day is supposed to be just a little different from all the rest. Also, "Tamed Nytekries" doesn't fit the meter, but "wild Nytrekies" does. Everybody knows that a "wild pet" is actually a pet someone caught, even if the pet's Profile page does say "Tamed."

BTW, Lionfang, I saw your Player Profile says you are still looking for a Springtime Nixi. I thought you had a breedable pair? If not, PM me. It's Spring; anyone who wants a Springtime Zolnixi should be able to get one.

Good point. :3 I'll be sure to edit that after I continue my Interactive story a bit further.
