How come when you Generate a Pet it does not do the Color that you Pick?

The different essences have different amounts of allowable color swing with the regular essence being the worse, enhanced being pretty close to the colors chosen and mythical being pretty much exactly the color chosen.

The regular essences can be quite painful with how much the colors can swing. Whenever I use regular essences I pretty much expect that I'll be needing to dye the final pair.

where can i get essences from to generate a Qitari? new member....

You can get essences from battling, mission satchels and nurturing. The drop rate is very low, and is random for satchels, but dependent on the species you were battling/nurturing when you get the essence.

As a new member, nurturing would be your best bet. Use the advanced search to find all the qitari eggs/hatchlings, and nurture them everyday until you get one. It might take a long time though, depending on how lucky you get.


Otherwise, if you can afford it, you can buy essences from the diamond shop (using diamonds), or from the trade broker from other players (now it's especially expensive...)
