Ashley limps forwards. She gives you a big hug. She hands you a note Miri wrote. "It looks like Ashley has been suffering for years. We needed to make a lot of surgeries and stitches to help her get better. Her ankle is not good though because of this anklet we found. In our records it has a tazer and a tracker in it. The tecnology is complicated. We don't have any idea of who it belongs to." She sits down. Her lip is swollenbut she tries to speak.



"T'ank 'ou 'or 'aving 'eh I owe 'ou on'!"

She tries to smile but her mouth only moves a millimeter. A great time to ask her questions!

*Maltese nods, and smiles back. She takes her notepad and pencil back out.
"So Ashley, I have a friend who is looking for a lost Sylesti." She says.
*Maltese takes out a picture of Kay's Sylesti, and holds it up.*

"Do you happen to know anything about her, or do those guys, Max and Samuel have anything to do with her disappearance?"

After the swelling goes down she stares at the zolnixi. She smiles brightly.



"Is that Kay's beautiful Zolnixi? I have seen her before! I remember when I was going back to my house Samuel and Max said that they will catch up. When I was walking I heard a loud whimper. Then this Nightfall Bandit Overseer started chasing me! I couldn't see his face or anything. I ran to my house and fell asleep after that."

She sighs.

*Maltese write that down in her notepad*
"Hmm. Interesting. Thank you. I will continue to look for her. Also, before I leave, may I ask why Samuel and Max were attacking you?"

Ha! This is so cool!

Ashley looks down. She gets all sad again.



" To be honest I have no idea! They said something about not exposing their secret and stuff like that. I was just praying to my papa who died many years ago. He told me that they were dangerous and I should be hanging out with Kay. I should have listened to him. When I wasn't around they stripped Kay's boots so she would look like a Newbie. She had to start all over again! I feel bad for her. When I was about to stick up for her they put this anklet on my ankle. Thank goodness it's gone!"

She scratches her red and dry ankle.

"Ok, I'm sorry and I hope you feel better."
*Maltese takes out her map of Sylestia. She takes out her pencil and circles the Night Fall Bandit Camp. She shows Ashley the map, and flashes a smile.*
"I'm gonna go there and look for Kay's 'Nixi, but don't worry! I will bring my Sylesti's with me." Maltese says, pointing to her three Sylesti's standing behind her.

As you walk out the door Ashley grabs your shoulder. You stare at her. Her eyes start shining.



"I would like to help. I owe Kay a big favor for letting her leave and not being friends with her. Please? I will bring my puffadore Valentine. Valentine come!"

A puffadore comes trotting over. Her offspring in her jaws.



She nudged Ashley while her mate walks over with her other offspring.





"She wants her daughter Petal, her son Cupid, and her mate Love. Well, can we come?"
