I made this up!!! It is for fun- no one has died!!!


It'll go like this: You ask a question (ping me), i give the answer. If you think you know who did it message me privately giving me a reason for why they did it and i will tell you if you are right or wrong. I will not accept answers that are too early as they will be guesses not actually thought through. There will be a prize when you work it out!!!

Here's the story (I apoligise for cheesey names!):

Your name is Professor Solveit. You are a detective. You solve murders...
You get shown to the ground floor flat where Mr Deadnow still lays. He is covered in blood. You look around the room.
It is a living room/ kitchen. A cold breeze blows in through a smashed window. The poker from the fire place is not on its hook. A draw containing knives and other cooking utensils has been pulled out in the kitchen. The police say the door was unlocked. Mr Deadnow is slumped across the coffee table. The sofa is covered in blood.
The police have given you three main suspects. Mr Deadnows neighbour Mr Nextdoor, who was the one who alerted the police of the murder but neglected to state how he came across it. Mr Deadnows ex-girlfriend, Miss Ladyperson who is rumoured to have used him. Mr Deadnows previous assistant, Mr Someguy who was fired for an unknown reason. You may interview any of them.

Mr Nextdoor: age 42, 6ft 7, 18 stone, hefty looking man who used to wrestle
Miss Ladyperson: age 30, 5ft 9, 12 stone, joggs daily
Mr Someguy: age 28, 6ft, 14 stone, works out at the gym

Alibis
-Mr Nextdoor: On the night i was at the pub. Ask my mates. In the morning i had a hangover, hardly rememberd what i did the night before. I walked round to his to see if he had coffe that wasn't de-caff. walked into that...
-Miss Ladyperson: I was busy that night. In the morning i went jogging as usual. Why should i be a suspect?
-Mr Someguy: I was working late that night at MacDonalds, it's the only place that would have me after he fired me. I can't tell you how much i hate it. And him. In the morning i was catching up on sleep. I'm not sorry he's gone.

Mr Someguy is currently in custody for attending a dog fight- a great time to ask any questions!

Was the broken glass from the window inside the flat or outside.

You walk up to the shattered window and notice that more glass is outside than inside.

What are the statures of the suspects? (height, weight, possibly strength.)

what time did Mr Nextdoor alert the police?

You ask a officer when it was reported and he replies "at 10:40 this morning".

(I'm assuming we can ask more questions, just not all at once..?)

What are the details of the wound? Size, placement, depth..?
