Hi, Skye. You can earn a title in several ways, but by far the most common way is by doing well with a Festival activity. I don't know if you'll be able to earn a title during the upcoming Week of Love event, but we should find out in a day or so.

Titles are gained by completing certain tasks, usually during festivals.
The only titles obtainable all the time are aspiring gladiator, and adept gladiator. Both are obtained by fighting in the arena in the 3rd region, and reaching a certain level.
Most titles are obtained during festivals when you take part in official forum games, or reach a certain requirement in the festival activities.
