Ok...
I've been playing Sylestia more than almost more than two and a half years, but I never figured out what all the battle statistics for pets are.
Yeah, I'm not really much for Exploration.

But it'd be great if someone could tell me what different uses all the stats have...and the difference between Physical and Magical attacks.

If you hold your mouse over the stats, it'll give you their descriptions.

But in case you're not on computer,
-Physical and magical damage are the type of attacks a pet can use

-strength increases physical damage and mitigation
-intelligence increases magical damage and mitigation
-agility increases quickness, avoidance
-dexterity increases critical hit

-physical/magical mitigation reduces the amount of damage your pet will receive from the respective attack
-quickness determines which pet attacks first each turn
-avoidance determines the chance of your pet avoiding an attack completely
-critical hit determines the success rate of hurting the opponent, and increases the chance of your pet dealing extra damage

I think these are the main ones. I'm on my phone now, so it's hard to check.

Physical and magical attacks are basically similar. Just that most opponents may be more resilient/vulnerable to one of them.

How your pet uses an attack is based on which one is higher. So if it's higher in physical damage, it'll use physical attack. If magical damage is higher, it'll use magical attack. So one of the basics to an efficient pet is that if you add points to strength, don't add any to intelligence, and vice versa. And try to use equipment that adds more stats/damage bonus to the stat you chose instead of splitting it evenly.
