Astryl's Vale, the 3rd region, has been unlocked. At this time, only the city, Ethernia, is available. However, Ethernia offers a unique feature not yet seen in previous towns: the Ethernia Arena!

Please note, you must have completed the last zone of Umbra Forest in order to access the new region.

Ethernia Arena
There are four ranks with a total of ten brackets in the Arena. Below is the breakdown:

Gladiator's Rank
Aspiring Gladiator: Level 0-25
Adept Gladiator: Level 26-50
Champion Gladiator: Level 51-75

Crusader's Rank
Aspiring Crusader: Level 76-100
Adept Crusader: Level 101-125
Champion Crusader: Level 126-150

Vanquisher's Rank
Aspiring Vanquisher: Level 151-175
Adept Vanquisher: Level 176-200
Champion Crusader: Level 201-225

Arena Champion
Arena Champion: Level 226-250

Defeating Challengers for each rank will earn you Marks for that rank. Marks can be spent in the Shop on pet equipment, avatar items, and possibly more later.

Completing a bracket will reward you with that bracket's title and will unlock that bracket's endless challenge.

At this time, only the Aspiring Gladiator bracket is available. The Adept Gladiator bracket will be added shortly.


Other Changes
We made some other changes in addition to Ethernia.

-The Block ability has been completely changed. It now reads as:

"If 10 Mana is available, the Pet takes up a defensive position increasing Physical Mitigation and Magical Mitigation by 20%, rendering the Pet immune to Critical Hits, and avoiding certain special attacks. If insufficient Mana is available, the Pet simply does nothing for the Turn."

-The Use Items action has been changed. It now is the Party Manager. Opening this allows you to switch the order of your pets in battle or simply use items.

-Titles have been added to the game. When you unlock a title, visit your Profile Page, click "Change Title", and select the title you wish to display. Titles will be displayed on Profile Pages and the Forums.

titles sound epic!!! And everything else too. You guys rule!!!

I'm a little confused though...how do we use items? Like potions to heal in battle.

For those struggling with the Arena, the biggest help I can offer is to say, "Block is your new best friend."
