Silent as a graveyard dance,
Where skeletons and corpses moan and prance,
Where the wind does howl,
Through the gnarled old trees,
Where the rain does fall,
On the yellowed leaves.

(I wrote this a while ago with the title Mourning Walks but it fit the theme so... ^.^')

In the creatures roam of you're song, you hum along to the autumn breeze hoping not to wheeze. pumpkins scream in the dead of night, scaring you to the brim with fright.... The moons light, thy howling wind of delight.

" Howling cats and a big black spider,
Flying bats, some doughnuts and cider,
Smiling pumpkins can be seen;
The time is here for halloween "

T'was the night before Halloween and all through the house
brought goblins and ghouls and a scary Mickey Mouse
Cobwebs and spiders were hung with care
Greeting trick or treaters if such would dare

I crept down the stairs, unable to sleep
and there lay the candy, even though it was cheap
in a blink of an eye, those chocolate and chips
had went from a bowl straight to my lips

In no time at all, nothing was left
I had turned into a Halloween candy theft
I climbed back into bed, closing my eyes
Praying those goodies would stay off my thighs!

Happy Halloween to all and to all a good Fright!

Am I really that much of a riot?
Doing things,
When I should be quiet?
How is life with you, Night
Is everything well?
Or did you just die of fright?

(I'm sorry,
I ran out of ideas
And I can't afford a Ferari)

Stop wasting my time))

Today is the night where kids roam free
dress in costumes you can see
walking down every single street
always looking for some new candy treat

Somehow this poem was really easy and was really easy to rhyme! :D

Darkness swirls dimming the
light
The darkness of
night
looking at you
watching you.
Evan when you look it follows you
until the light of
day
when it goes away for the next chance
to sneak up on you
Again!

Hidden behind the mask
Fearing his own face
Going from house from house
To earn a tasty treat

From each house, he travels to
He yells boo and scares many
The people in the house wait for him
Ready to give him a treat

Boo is what he shouts to the end
People watch with delight
The boy is best at Halloween
He runs through the night

Watching all the innocent souls
He stares at them from his house
He only has one day to have his fun
Before he disappears till next Halloween

His once living soul growing dim
He prowls his home one last time
Before he disappears during the morning
He leaves without a trace
( I wrote this like a year ago and now I can use it. )
