oh! do you happen to know where this theme is actually from? It was before i joined so i have no idea but i just looved it's colours XD

I was trying to figure out what happened because I thought I made a post here earlier but looking through my tabs I realize I never hit "post reply". Oops!

Aside from the female you already messaged me about, I do also have two males with recessives for things you're looking for. The feathered wings and tipped mane. But at least the male with the recessive feathered wings has a color swing which would make the project's feathered wings not look right. Here he is below.



Color swing is going to be one of the problems with this project. The majority of the ghastly luporas were from the Fall Fest 2013. This was before color swing was narrowed so colors can be quite varied. They returned in Fall Fest 2014 but in smaller numbers. However, Fall Fest 2014 was the first fest that had the reduced color swing. So any ghastly luporas you find from the second time around will have much less swing.

oh dear... i totally forgot about that >.< i didn't realize it was an old one either. Um, what should i do about the colour swing? I don't want to dye themed projects but i want the colours to be good too, am i asking for too much? xD

And i'd rather not bring pets with other traits over the traits i want because that gets complicated and i can't handle XDD I've already got yeti to deal with, only one lup has it and it is a hidden -_-

I thought ghastlys were tamed but turns out they're exclusive so i can't mutate.

You'll have to try to mutate original ones if you can't find newer ones with the traits.

Regarding breeding for the colors you want, I think it might just be a case of having to breed until you get an offspring closer to the parent you want it to be like. I've honestly never been the best at breeding projects though.

The first year Ghastlys are Tamed, the second year ones are Exclusive, because they were rarely dropped by a festival boss. ^^

Ghastlys were one of my very first themes accepted on the site, from the very first Themed contest held. :)

My Mystic Ribbon boy is Tamed, btw. If you want, you could send me a GGM to use on him, so he can supply another trait you need.

I also own two Tamed with traits more recessive than the one you are going for, that could possibly help with GGMs in the future if you wanted as well. Happy to leave them all up for you for breeding, but one of those is also quite color swung as well:

Let me know if you'd like me to put them up for you for breeding in the meantime. They would default down to the trait you want if bred to one of that trait, but yeah, they'd also get the carry in the background as well.

I don't know what your stance on dying themed offspring is but if you do want to work with pets with some stronger colour swings I don't mind donating some dyes to the cause to help you make the babies more Ghastly-looking :)
