ROUND THREE VOTING
VOTING CLOSED
Voting Ends: Friday, August 7th at 7:00PM Sylestia Time
Alright, I'm not going to make this very long. I think I expressed my gratitude to you all enough last time. I have still been having an amazing time running this contest and I hope that everyone else is continuing to have a lot of fun and continues to do so.
We had everyone turn in a design which is super exciting, and I hope we'll be able to keep that up for the rest of the rounds. Unfortunately, this also means that TWO people will be eliminated based on these votes so I hope we can get a lot of them.
For this round I would like people voting to choose their favorites based on overall flow of the design, how well the contestants stuck to their color, how well all the markings/mutations worked together, and of course how nice the design looks. The list of what traits is in each design will be listed with the entries, and unless the contest specified a "name" for their design they are simply labeled by color. Thanks everyone! :)
EVERYONE PLEASE READ THE RULES!
RULES
1.) None of the entries will be labeled with the contestants name. This is what is considered a "blind vote", meaning no one will know who created what design. Once all of the votes are in I will put edit my Vote Counter post below so that everyone's name will be revealed.
2.) There is no real way for me to police this, but I feel confident that those of you who are contestants won't reveal which design is your's privately to anyone in order to get votes. If you are found to have done this you will be disqualified. Furthermore, if you accidentally post in this thread before the voting ends and indicate which design is your's I won't disqualify you, but you will not be eligible for anymore votes.
3.) VOTERS: When voting please vote for your TWO favorite designs. They will be numbered, so please refer to the designs you wish to vote for. Comments are welcome and I'm sure will be appreciated by the contestants, but please keep it positive.
4.) Contestants are allowed to vote, but it should go without saying that you shouldn't vote for your own design. I'll know whose is whose. This is our first full-length voting round so hopefully we get plenty of votes.
5.) Everyone have fun and please let me know if you have any questions or think I left something out.
ROUND THREE THEME - Monochromatic
Alright, so I wanted to give you guys a LITTLE bit of a break after last round, but capturing the essence of this theme might be a bit of a challenge. The key to this round is to make a design that includes a monochromatic color scheme. This means that if you choose red you must ONLY choose shades of red for this design. This design must have at least FOUR visible traits or more, so I'd like everyone to list the traits they used when they send me their design. Now, I want to see every stay true to their color while still making all of their traits stand out. What I mean by this is that I don't want to see a Blue design with shades of blue all across the board, try to keep everything pretty close to each other while still making a cohesive design.

Whoa.. this is tough. They're all so beautiful! :D
I'm going with #14, the Purple Aurleon, and #16, the Sepia Brown Aeridini. I think their colors flow together with the traits quite nicely. Nonetheless, all the designs are gorgeous!

Yay, everyone turned in a design! Now I have a full palette of designs to see. ^^
I'll place my votes on numbers 10 and 2. I feel like they both stuck to their colours very strictly, but the designs still turned out beautifully!
Well done to everyone this round - even though I could only pick two they were all amazing.
