I tried to do designs that kind of stood out from the others, especially with the ligh neph and ryori cause I was seeing alot of super common colors. My neph looks like a summer sunset, which I didn't notice till I was done with it. My ligh design, I was seeing a lot of browns/earth tones and not much in the way of bright/viberant colors for them...and with August being my moms birth month I figured purple(her favorite color, and mine after she passed away; it's my way of keeping her with me) made the most sense. The ryori turned out nicely, though it was the most challenging design as the refferance pic wasn't the best(size wise for me accuratly pin point the exact colors, but I think I got close enough. I like my aeri design(based on my favorite angel fish), but now that I think back I could have done a bit better and maybe picked a different subspecies to work with.
