Okay, so even though the contest is already underway, I am looking for some "Winner Banners" for my design contest Sylestia's Next Top Designer.

So what I need are just some banners that the winners for each round, and then the Top 4 winners will be able to post on their profiles. I don't really have any specific ideas for these, so I'm really looking for some examples if possible and then I'll choose who I want to do them. I CAN offer gold to pay for these, but I would prefer to discuss prices through messages, you are also free to post what you think the banners are worth when you submit your example.

Things I DO Want...

I want the banners for Rounds 1-8 to be the same.
I want the banner for the Wildcard Round to be different.
I want the banners for each of the Top 4 to be different.
Maybe an overall blue theme for the first eight of them, but I'm open.
Just think lots of brushes, textures, pretty text. I wouldn't mind like...a silhouette of a Sylesti species, I think that would be kind of neat in the background.
I've never posted anything on my profile so I'm not sure what the dimensions should be, so hopefully you all know more about that than I do. :P

EXAMPLE:
Just so you have some idea to run with when you post an example. A banner with a pretty background, probably a border, with text saying "Sylestia's Next Top Designer" "Winner of Round One - Precious Gems" and you can tweak the size and placement of the text any way you think looks best. :)

Like I said, I'm really open, I just want something pretty that the winners can keep to remember this contest. If you want some more details before sending me an example feel free to ask here or message me. You can also send your example to me via private message or post it here, whichever you want. I'm sorry that I'm not being more specific, but I've seen some awesome stuff on this forum so I think you're all up to the challenge. :)

I'm probably too swamped to help, but just in case, are you looking to have just one person do ALL of them, or sort of maybe two(one for rounds 1-8 and another for the rest) or more? And is there any kind of deadline or what?


(I kinda got myself into doing art for another contest that'll be going on during the festival and if they overlap i don't know if i'll be able to handle it. I might still be able to make at least a background with a place for text, other than that i'm not sure. Thank you on behalf of all artists for not saying the payment will be 'exposure' though!)

I was going to prefer them all done by the same person, but I guess multiple people could do it since the Top 4 banners are going to be different than the 1-8 banners. I'm not looking for anything complicated, especially for the 1-8.

What I WOULD like, is the Wildcard Round banner to actually look like a playing card, so if someone just wants to do that one, that works. :)

You were actually one of the people I was thinking about contacting specifically, because I saw your art in your art shop, and I was amazed. But that is why I totally understand that you're so swamped. I'm definitely considering ordering SOMETHING from you in the future when you're not so busy. :)

Aww, thanks! There's a lot of practice over a lot of years involved. I'll be freeing up space soon, when this thunderstorm is over i plan on trying to finish the one piece that's been holding me back. Then the rest i'll have done fairly quickly, i think. Just got the 75% spent data text so i'll probably be on my laptop more for a week or so anyway!

I do have one sooorta recent graphic sample, it wasn't meant to impress as a graphic so much as it was to be a sort of frame for some game screenshots, but here. (In fact it's probably a better sample of pixel art/animal crossing designs than a graphic art sample...)

Edit: threw this together because i had no internet and couldn't look at refs for drawing stuff. Is that ANYTHING like what you were thinking of? it'd be slightly bigger, but it's just a start.

What your wanting is classified as a "thread set". I have a few examples posted there and I just did some banners for Everlost/The Sylestia Times. I can show you those but they could change if Everlost wants something tweaked.

I will graduate college in May 2016 with a Bachelor's of Graphic Design and right now I don't have anything to do, so I could probably complete everything within a week. I apologize if you've already found someone to make your banners.

Yeah, I did already find someone to do them, and I apologize for forgetting about this thread and not letting people know. I appreciate the offer though, and since there will be further seasons perhaps you or Cyanidae could do the banners for the next season. Thanks again. :)
