oh god, so i took that long hiatus and only came back recently so i could be wrong and this is pointless, but before the crash the other day i had started dying this pet with lesser dyes.
It had worked fine, as fine as lesser dyes work, but now the past two dyes i've used seem more like the ooolllld dye mechanics where it'd change the old color by a few values...they're still close to the faded blueish gray shades instead of anywhere near the intended colors!
I don't know if they were changed again before i came back or if the crash reverted stuff or what, but i figured i'd mention it since i don't wanna waste resources if it IS a problem!

The dye system hasn't been changed for a long time. It can give some varying results, especially Lesser Dyes.
We do plan on taking a look at the color swing algorithm in its entirety when we revamp Sylestia, however.
