Hello Again,
I know that I've been posting a lot on this fourm recently, asking all sorts of questions so I hope someone will take the time to answer this one as well.
What are Scales??
And is their a way to just buy pets instead of catching them??
Oh, and also, is it possible to catch an Uncommon-2 star wild pet with the basic first trap??

Hello and welcome!
Scales are another form of currency on the site. You can earn them from nurturing sylesties - here is a guide on nurturing if you're not sure how. :)
To buy pets, you can use the advanced search option: link
There, you can search for pets by species, traits, and you can even set a price limit.
You can also look through the Pet Auctions forum, where people advertise the pets they sell.
You can also buy egglings with scales you earn from nurturing!
As for catching sylesties, you need to have the same color trap as the stars on the pet you're trying to catch.
So, green stars: green traps, blue stars: blue traps, purple stars: purple traps. Yellow and red star pets can only be caught with Master traps, which come from the diamond shop.

And what is AP. I have 1,709 AP and have no idea what it is.

AP are Advancement Points.
You get them from doing different stuff around the site - fighting battles, completing quests / tasks, missions, tending pets in the hatchery, etc.
Once you get over 10,000 you can hire a helper to help you feed your pets everyday. You can also spend AP to buy different Eyes, Ears, Mouths, Noses, Eyebrows, Hair, Beards, Facial Features, Makeup, Tops, Bottoms, Feet and Arms for your avatar.

I'm pretty sure you can't get feet or arms from the wardrobe.

Take a look in the Wardrobe. Under Clothing there's two sections called Feet and Arms.

Whoops. That's clothing for the feet and arms XD I was thinking actual feet and arms for your avatar XD that just shows how tired I am.

Yep :) The only actual arms I can think of that you can buy are the Severed Zombie Arms and those are only helds.
