Heyyy, I've been thinking for a while about do art commissions ((Would be about 100g)) since I have some art talent.
I've been shying away from it because 1. I'm not a very social person x'D and 2. I have no idea if i'd get responses. ((I also have a huge fear of letting people down))

The first two are what I usually do because they're simple and usually very quick.
The last one is much more complex and takes much longer time wise.
I have SAI, But I'm still getting used to it so.

Also how on earth do you send people gold? X'D for commissions..

I'd say 5k or so, maybe 10k :3

Also, to "send gold", get a really uselessish item like a magic mushroom and send them one of the price they would pay.

I would say, it depends. Something like the first example I would pay 30k gold for. Something like the latter two, I probably would not be a customer. ^.^''' I'd be happy to give more explanation as to why if you would like. But anyway, to me, it would be a consistency question.

You could probably charge a little more; the fact these were done in Paint makes them even more impressive!

Such a cute style though. And no, don't feel like you're letting anyone down! Go for it!

edit: also, Sai is amazing. You could probably use the Binary tool to replicate the hard edged style, till you can get a grip on the program.(if you need any help, i've been using it for several years now, in addition to knowing many resources for tutorials and brush/texture settings. You can inbox me or whatever, any time!)

WHOA you mean these are mouse drawings? And not even a regular mouse, one of those godawful trackpads that i can barely use as a mouse let alone to draw with!

Buut then i guess that means you're not aware of the magic of the Lineart Layer options? The fact you can do lineart with a mouse? It's tough to get used to but i can attest it works. As much as i'd recommend investing in a tablet if you really love drawing, you can still get clean lineart. Shading is still a pain though!

Just four years ago i was pretty much where most people start digital art at. That was the first time i was in an art shop, and i drew so much in 2011 that i improved sooo much. As long as you're drawing daily and are always looking to improve, you will!
