Just like the one for "Sylestian based rants and vents" this one is more IRL based.

The only rule is:

1. No obscenities

2. If the person you are venting/ranting about plays Sylestia, don't ping them on here.

Other than that, feel free to get it off your chest :3

Everyday of the week everyone in the house is assigned a day to clean the kitchen and dishes at the end of the day. Our dishwasher is not hooked up because my dad is taking months on the floor... On Saturday my boyfriend and I are a team, and on Sunday my sister and parents are a team. Every other day is individual days...

Tonight (Sunday) my family failed to clean the kitchen... and now I'm stuck doing it tomorrow... and they made a huge mess for me. T-T They never complete the job. My boyfriend and I are always stuck with the most dishes on our days. My sister purposely starves on her day (Wednesday) and after my boyfriend has done the kitchen Tuesday night so that there isn't anything for her to do on Wednesday.

It's a silly thing to complain about, and maybe kind of childish but there are A LOT of dishes to do, way too many for one person to clean by themselves. My family are a bunch of pigs, honestly. My boyfriend is always appalled at their behaviour and it would never fly in his parents house.

Hopefully this gets cleaned up tomorrow before the evening (yep that was all from today)...

Edit: Thankfully my mom is taking responsibility and cleaning up alone this morning. I guess my dad and sister felt they shouldn't help her because it's no longer Sunday, lol.

Dish problems infuriate me. I feel your pain!
Thankfully our dishwasher works.

I can't think of a rant at the moment cause I just woke up... but believe me I'm sure I'll be back to post later. xD

I know how you feel, at work each shift (1st and 2nd) are suppose to take care of their own dishes and it never fails that when i come in (i'm 2nd shift) 1st shift never does their dishes and i'm the one stuck doing them. I work in a deli so its not like the dishes are hard to clean and we have a 3 sink basin (wash, rinse, sanitize) , they just don't want to do them.

Mini rant about Pokemon.

Why do people always say Pokemons or Pokemans or Pokeman?? That is not what it is. Pokemon is the plural of Pokemon because Pokemon= Pocket Monsters. So stop getting it wrong people, it's not that hard. >:/ just stop before it gets worse.

My principal caused stuff to happen to me; I lost a load of friends because of her. She said, and I quote: "No Pokemans after 3rd grade." D: so not only did she ruin most of my friendships, she also discriminated Pokemon D:<

It really bothers me that people will ignorantly keep bettas in small unheated bowls/vases, and they live a long while (mainly due to the cold water slowing their metabolism). But as someone who keeps their bettas properly, in heated tanks with good food and adequate water changes, I get dragged through so much trouble with them. Since I started seriously keeping bettas last July I've had 2 new heaters take on condensation, 2 others randomly stop working, and another 2 brand new ones fluctuate drastically in temp (Set on 79'f but swing between 75-85'F) which is not good for the fish but I have to use them anyways.

I've spent hundreds of dollars of money I don't have trying to deal with this endless problem that I have no control over. Whats worse is I didn't realize HOW hard it is to get things here in Canada compared to the US. And the price. Everything is so insanely overpriced here in Canada its not even funny. On top of that there are so few places to get things unless you live in a major urban center, so you have to shop online. Shipping is just another expense added on to the pile.

And yet, someone will happily "educate" me that I'm doing it all wrong and my bettas will be much happier in a tiny bowl with their water changed once a month because they live in "mud puddles". Despite the fact that they come from huge rice paddy fields and canals, and that the amount of ammonia that would build up in a bowl over a month would literally be poisoning the gills and burning the fish's body.

TL;DR: Don't listen to pet stores, do your own extensive research online and save up at least $100 before getting any fish/pet. Fish are not a cheap pet and have massive start up costs.

You know..sometimes you just need to ignore the silly stuff adults say.
So all you have to do is refrain from talking about Pokemon around her, that's all. Some adults aren't happy unless they start dictating to others what they can like or not like.

I am 44 and I still like Pokemon so there! :)

One of the things I really am disgusted at is spitting. It's gross and I do not like having to navigate around puddles of saliva. Spitting like a llama is not cool or funny, it's disgusting and really shows the level, or lack thereof, of maturity one has. It makes you look like a uneducated thug, especially when you do it around eating establishments. Just...don't.

Oh, and another thing, if you are going to have a computer, cellphone, digital camera then please make an effort to learn how to use it. I see so many "older" people who whine about technology and sneer at it yet will go out and get a device then steadfastly refuse to learn even the basics and insist that everyone else operate for them.

Seriously, if you have had a computer for years then you should know how to use it. Learn how to use the basic functions of e-mail or how to use the word processing software. There are BOOKS that you can check out and most software have these cool things called MANUALS that show you how to do stuff. It's ok to ask for help but if you have not learned, after fifteen years how to select a block of text or how to move a paragraph up one line then why have a computer?

Ok..I'm done...

Spitting sometimes is important and unavoidable, there are things that need to come out. (Besides when I barf I get the option of spitting is I don't have to vomit, and that's better than vomiting sometimes.)

Yeah but there is a thing called kleenex too, heh

But most, if not all of the time, I see people spitting simply because they think it is cool to do and they don't realize how disgusting it is to see a trail of spit sailing through the air.

But when I talk of spitting I talk about out in public when one is walking around, not at home sick in bed. Then sometimes when it all has to come back out (vomiting) then sometimes you have to spit out icky stuff (in the toilet of course)

But yeah...

One time my friends and I counted over 100 spit puddles at the college across from my college (mine use to be part of the saliva infested one at one time)... we only walked a few metres. Absolutely disgusting to spit in public. >_O
