You might want to make the point that you really shouldn't take the feather. Most waterfowl, songbird, and falcon/eagle feathers are illegal to possess.

I just don't want to cause anyone legal troubles.

Am I being too anxious about this?
my friend (Bobcat33) lives on a farm - she can find a peacock, chicken, turkey or even a goose feather that has fallen off of the animal by itself.

Commonly farmed birds, like the ones you mentioned above, are perfectly legal to take feathers from. Most wild birds, however, are not legal to take feathers from, even if the feathers naturally fell off. I consider these laws to be utterly ludicrous, but they were first put into place to protect wild birds (except certain common game birds and invasive species of birds) from being hunted solely for their feathers. It's really, really stupid, but I did just want to issue a word of warning to our community. Getting fined for scavenger hunting wouldn't be fun at all. -_-

An online game that tells me to go outside? XD
I just ran out and took some pictures, I didn't include the username though. Does it have to be on all of them or would a few be enough? Some of them, like the insects or flying things, would be hard redo & get a username in since the subjects fly away.

I should take this list with me for when I go to work.

It's not cheating if I take pictures of things in THE BIG CITY, right? V:

I would technically like each thing to have your name and date in it. However, if you are trying to take a picture of a bird and you can't get your name tag into the picture in time...you can take another picture of where that bird just was (so say its in a tree branch, you take a picture of the bird in the tree branch, it flies away, then you can go and take a picture of that same tree branch with your name tag in the photo so I know that it was taking the picture).

The entire point of asking you to have your name in the picture is so that I know you just aren't stealing images off of google. It must be clearly discernible though that it is a picture of the same tree branch where the bird was.

A quick question, some of the items listed i actually have in the house (i.e. rocks, feather) since i went on a big hiking trip almost 2 years ago (same hiking trip my fiance asked me to marry him) would it be alright if i took pictures of those. Also are we allowed to take pictures of our own dogs/cats for the hairy/mammal item?
