he chanced the offer to 300 diamonds not 600k + 300 diamonds

i would never let him pay a grazy amount like that for just 1 item

wing mostly cost around 250 diamonds

Umm... not to butt in, but I've seen the runic aura go for an average of ~500k. I have seen people put it up for a hugely jacked up price, in the millions, but I don't recall ever seeing it being actually bought for that much, at least not recently. ^^;

Just my two cents, feel free to ignore me.

@Strike,
It's more a difference in where the demand is, for items such as these which do not appear in circulation frequently.

When it is on the broker, it is the seller who wants to sell, and no one who wants to buy. So they have to chop their price to accommodate the average buyer.

Versus, when there is a thread such as this looking for a particular item, it is the buyer who wants to buy with no sellers. If a seller does come along, it is generally seen as a favor for just offering the item due to its infrequency in circulation. Since the seller doesn't have incentive to sell, the buyer has to up their offer more to counter this.

If I were the seller, in this scenario this would be my logic:
For an item such as runic aura, it would have cost roughly 200 diamonds in the cashshop when it came out. So offering less than 200 diamonds worth is silly, particularly since no need to have gold urgently. Additionally, since it won't be available for a while, its value should increase, and should be worth around 400 dia.

Versus, if I were the seller, needed gold and wanted to price on the broker:
I would price probably at 600-800k gold.

It's just cost benefit analysis. The cost of the buyer not buying is large since there is not an alternative. So even if they pay more than what you would find on the broker, they are still "gaining."
