Since this has also turned into a max stat project (the only one being done with Qitaries, as far as I know), any and all stat Nurtures are appreciated once the foal hatches. And yes, there's a Prismatic Philter waiting for her/him.

How do I figure out how much Star-crossed Qitari inheritance each offspring has? It's not that complicated.

Penny Priddy is 411/512ths Star-crossed. However, her offspring only gets half of her Star-crossed inheritance. Half of 411/512ths is 411/1024ths.

However, the offspring also gets half his father's Star-crossed inheritance. Yakone is 35/64ths Star-crossed Qitari. Half of 35/64ths is 35/128ths.

Now all we have to do is add 411/1024ths to 35/128ths. It just so happens that 128 X 8 = 1024. Therefore, we can get a common denominator by multiplying 34/128 times 1 . . . provided we write "1" like this: 8/8. After all, any number, divided by itself, is 1!

So, 35/128 X 8/8 = 280/1024.

The rest is easy. Just add half Penny Priddy's Star-crossed inheritance (411/1024) to half of Yakone's re-written (but still the exact same amount!) Star-crossed inheritance (280/1024), like this--

411/1024 + 280/1024 = 691/1024

His eventual offspring with Nova Pulse will be over 83% pure Star-crossed.

To continue: All of Nova Pulse's offspring are, by definition, 1/2 Star-crossed, since she is the original-and-only 100% Star-crossed Qitari.

Yakov's offspring will receive half of his Star-crossed inheritance. Half of 691/1024 is 691/2048.

Nova Pulse's offspring with Yakov Smirnoff will be 1/2 + 691/2048 Star-crossed.

1/2 is the same as 1024/2048.

1024/2048 + 691/2048 = 1715/2048

The offspring will be 83.7% pure Star-crossed!
