I'm currently working on a seasonal Faelora project, and I've noticed Fae don't get much love around here...

Hoping to change that with this fun contest!



Contest Rules:
*Create a Faelora based on one of these 3 themes*

Hiking in a Canyon
Venturing deep into a Magical Forest
Journey to the bottom of the Sea

*note: I prefer natural colors, but if they look nice and are well color coordinated I'll probably enjoy it*

You may submit multiple entries as long as it is one per theme, and on one post.

This contest begins when this is posted and ends
22 March 2015 - 12pm Server Time

1st Place: Painting of a Pet of their Choice + A free breeding with any 2 pairs in my stables

How about this for Journey to the bottom of the Sea?


I like the way the stripes come out looking like sunlight or foam on the surface of the waves, and the diamonds are like beams of light glittering a bit deeper in the water.


Here's Hiking in a Canyon--


I was thinking of my drive through the American West and its spectacular geology when I did this. I don't usually like Skeletal, but in this case it works to suggest fossils in the sides of the canyon walls. The dark green and the flowers represent the marks of water levels and the tiny plants that grow at the bottom of a river-carved canyon.
