I got this new pet and I don't know what to do with it. It is the only of it's kind that I have. I don't know how to get another one.

You can train this pet so it levels up to be around your starter's level so you can have it in your part, or you could focus on making it a mission pet to complete missions for you by putting all the proficiency points and level up points into one specific stat you want this pet to focus on. If you want another one of the same species, you could have a look in the advanced search for pets of this species that are for sale. There's almost always something for sale that's very cheap. If it's the sylvorpa or luffox you're wanting to find more of, i have a few i can give to you for free.

Ok, you won't find it too hard to find one in the wild, there are also lots for sale for 1 gold. Just go to advanced search, set the species to lupora, the gender to female, set the search to pets for sale and make sure to order by sale price so the cheaper ones come up first. You can also look for specific traits if that's what you want.

If you catch a pet of a type you don't want, you can sell it or give it away. You can also release it into the wild. Some players look for Tamed pets with nice colors because they are the only pets a player can use a Mutator on, to give it a new trait.

What's a mutator?

Mutators are used to mutate either genes or mutations on tamed Sylesti. They do not work on generated, Bres or some Exclusive pets.

There are two forms of mutators, Lesser and Greater.

The Lesser mutator will randomly select a Gene or Mutation slot with nothing in it and either put a Visible trait or a carried trait.


A Greater will ALWAYS put a visible trait and you get to select the slot and trait you want.


once a pet has been mutated it cannot be mutated again, and to show that it hass been utated the pet will have a little mutator in its information section.
