Like the title says, I need some advise. I know a lot of people are going to have excess ingredients at the end of the festival and that these items are more than likely going to go to waste since they may not be usable come next winter fest (see Krinadon's comment here). So I thought it might be good idea to pool people's excess ingredients and raffle off the pets made with them to the contributors. ^^


There are just a few problems.

1) While I have the space in my inventory to stack excess ingredients, I won't have very many frost tokens to get baking utensils to make the pets.

2) How many entries should contributors get, since some items are worth more than others (like blueberries, higher rarity spices, and utensils, etc.)

3) How do I ensure it's fair? (can i enter? or should I not to ensure I'm impartial?)

4) What should be done with excess pets (ex. a morkko no one wants) and ingredients at the end?


Any advice would be appreciated. :)

1) Well, you could ask people contribute frost tokens, or baking utensils. I would be able to contribute x1 baking utensils.

2) Woah. >.< This one's hard. Umm...maybe create a base cost in gold for each rare item, then have each 'ticket' be so much gold?

3) I don't really know how to answer this one, but I believe that you should be able to enter, considering that you contribute something.

4)Sell them?

1. I honestly try to give away spices+ingredients, excluding the frost tokens. It leaves the other person (receiver) responsible to bake the pets. s: Plus I'm one of those people who tried to get holiday shop avatar items.
Krin did say he made the baking utensils their price for population control, so it's hard to get around it unless people pooled their extra tokens together as well.

2. Probably 1-3 for regular species (everything except griffi and nephini), and maybe 1 for griffi/nephini. (since the 14 other pets have the same ratio of ingredient usage regardless of demand)

3. Usually, hosts of raffles don't enter their own raffle. But they do open it to everyone else, and that seems fair enough. c:

4. I keep them or put them on public sale. I'd insert such a blurb about that in the raffle beforehand, so people know what happens when no one puts their claim on one pet.

Good luck! I would think that 25-frost-token-per-pet thing is the more difficult part of this idea. c:

I can donate:
1 Rare Griffi Spice,
1 Rare Luffox Spice.
2 Frost Tokens (minimum),
4 Vanilla Wafers,
1 Holiday Frosting,
and 1 Shredded Coconut.

Do you think I should have 2 separate pools (one for fables, and one for non-fables) or 3 (one for non-fables, one for griffi, and one for nephini)? Or should it all just be one big pool?


I'll do some extra grinding to get at least some frost tokens to buy Utensils (I should have some left over after I buy all the avatar items as well; not sure how many, but we'll see ^^; ). Hopefully, people will be able to contribute utensils as well; I'd hate to have to pick and choose which species get made and which don't. :/

Yes, actually, the 2 pool idea is great! I am actually able to contribute 2 utensils. May be able to get more later. And I would love to be pinged!
